- Say hello to the class and introduce yourself, using Hello, I’m + name, ask pupils to answer Hello, Miss / Mr + name. Do that a few times. Walk around the class to say hello again to some pupils and ask them to answer, slapping on your hand held out.
- Pupils turn their books to page 6 . Tell pupils that they are going to learn to greet and respond to greeting formally.
- Pupils look at four pictures to discuss the content in which the language is used. Pupils answer some questions about the content of four pictures. 
- Play the recording all the way though for pupils to listen , and point to the appropriate lines in their books.
- Play the recording again for pupils to repeat the lines in the speech bubbles. Repeat the step a few times.
- Have pupils to read in groups.
- Have pupils to practice in pairs .
- Tell pupils that they are going to practise greeting and responding to each other formally by using Good morning and Good afternoon and Good evening .

* Teach the sentences:

- Have pupils look at pictures to understand how the language is used in different contexts -Point to the first picture and elicit the formal --Pupils identify the characters in the pictures greeting used in the morning . Ask pupils to say the phrase chorally and individually. 
-Tell the pupils to practise greeting and responding to greetings in pairs using the prompts in the bubbles.
 - Model: call on a pair and ask them to pretend the character in the pictures to act out the greeting and responding then exchange.
 - Some pairs act out in front of the class.
- Checks as a class and correct pronunciation if necessary.
- Tell pupil that they are going to practice using Good morning or Good afternoon.
 - Pupils practice greeting their teacher in the class
- Teacher responds. 
- Pupils sing the song on page 7

- Play the recording all the way though for pupils to listen , and point to the appropriate lines in their books.
- Play the recording again for pupils to repeat the lines in the speech bubbles. Repeat the step a few times.
- Have pupils to read in groups.
- Tells pupils that we are going to practise greeting and responding and goodbye to each other specially by using See you tomorrow/ See you later.

-Get some pupils to perform in front of the class.
-Tell pupils that they are going to listen to the recording and circle the right words and then read the sentences aloud
- Introduce the activity and give a few seconds for pupils to read the text.
-Pupils read the words before listening the recording.
-Play the recording for pupils to circle the words. And set the time limit for pupils to complete the sentences, the check the answers.
